Tony Guhr grew up on the family farm in Kansas, lived in Chicago fifteen years, Colorado for fifteen years, and now back in Kansas. Seven of the best years of his life involved office management, development work, and program hosting with a nationwide ministry organization. Tony Guhr has spent the recent 40 years of his life developing particular new businesses with new approaches to resolving industry-related challenges. A few of the companies he started and developed from scratch include…Cattle conditioning company, processing 10,000 head of cattle each year for investors reducing death loss by innovations in medical and nutritional treatment programs.
Nationwide commercial roofing business with regional and national accounts operating with 24 hour a day offering of emergency services and use of infrared nighttime flyovers. Equipment and automated process to convert large volumes of animal manures to premium compost soil amendment materials for agriculture. Lease Finance company designed to finance/lease large commercial roof construction projects to school districts to avoid need for public bond votes and sales.

Reclamation and Remanufacturing of carbon fiber scrap from the Aerospace and Auto manufacturing industry to reduce the annual $1B of composite waste going into landfills around the world and produce high performing composite materials for a wide range of product applications. His favorite activities include midnight fishing for trout in the high mountain lakes of Colorado or in hidden canyons in Arizona. Not much beats the hundreds of times he has taken young kids fishing.

27 Seconds

Written by Tony, this book dives into the importance of your daily connection with God the Creator.
The right way to start the day!
The “Lord’s Prayer” has been memorized and recited by 100s of millions of people around the world. Interestingly this Prayer is recited in 400 year old, Shakespearean English! Many of the words used are no longer clear. “27 Seconds” proposes some simple and basic adjustments to make this Prayer, taught to us by Jesus Christ, more meaningful in our personal prayer time.
• Uses today’s common language
• Encourages the use of the Prayer on a daily basis instead of weekly
• Keeps the same topics Jesus taught • Changes the plural of persons to singular
• Remains the same 27 seconds to recite as it did 2000 years ago!
The brevity of the prayer makes it clear Jesus had you and me in mind!
Do you have 27 seconds in your daily schedule to meet with the Creator of the Universe, at His invitation?
Scrapes & Bruises

Written from personal encounters of near death, Tony recalls the importance of what these events taught him and others.
Many people have had near death experiences at some point in their lives.
Some of those events we would just as soon forget. All such events build in us new levels of caution and consideration in our planning. Tony Guhr recounts 30 of his experiences with facing death up close and personal.
These stories are normally told around campfires and s’mores events for entertainment of the next generation of family members and friends. These near death or live another day events and situations come with some important and basic lessons for life. They serve to remind us and lead to the most basic decisions we all must face, sooner or later. Better sooner than too late.
Included in this book is the review of 3,400 years of history of the common symbol/emblem
commonly used by the Medical and Health services around the world.
This book provides an interesting prelude to how we can each pursue all of the best of life by
understanding that we all have an expiry date.
To be ready to die is to be free to live.
